Frequently asked questions
Does reverse-osmosis water lack minerals?
The membrane does retain most dissolved salts, that is the principle. But around 90% of your mineral intake comes from food, not water. Why “direct flow” rather than a tank?
The E400 produces water the moment you open the tap: no tank under the sink, so a smaller footprint and, above all, no stagnant water. Automatic membrane flushing takes care of the rest for hygiene.
How much water does it reject?
The E400’s recovery rate is above 50%: for every litre of pure water produced, less than a litre goes to drain, a markedly better yield than classic tank-based RO units.
What does annual maintenance involve?
Replacing the filters as they wear, which the digital display signals, and a system check by our technicians. EGBT SA keeps genuine consumables in stock and schedules the visit: there is nothing for you to remember.
