What exactly does it remove?
The chlorine responsible for bad taste, more than 98% of the pesticide average (alachlor, atrazine, diuron, MCPA…) and the forever chemicals PFOA & PFHpA up to 20,000 litres. It also mostly retains aniline, benzene, dichloroethylene, hydroquinone and phenol.
When should the cartridge be changed?
The cartridge treats 10,000 litres for chlorine, about a year for a family of four. EGBT SA keeps genuine cartridges in stock and calls you when the change is due: there is nothing for you to monitor.
Can I install it as a tenant?
Yes: the filter fits on the cold-water supply under the sink, without building work, and is cleanly removed if you move out. It’s a frequent question in Geneva, our technicians answer it during the site visit.
